MobileWizardry
and INDUSTRY Entertainment announce a co-operative agreement to publish
entertainment titles on handheld devices using the SHARK development
kit, which allows deployment of software on multiple handheld devices simultaneously.
Aaron Ardiri, co-founder of MobileWizardry says:
We became familiar with INDUSTRY Entertainment, and their introduction to the PalmOS® development scene when they entered the PalmOS® demo coding competition we hosted in 2002 - and, took 1st place honours in the 'demo' category and a 2nd place overall with their '2myjazz' demo (more information here).
INDUSTRY Entertainment has since developed some very professsional looking games for PalmOS®, and, its an honour to finally work together with such a talented team of developers - such developers are very hard to come across, especially with their experience with optimization and pushing the hardware to its limits. It will be a great relationship to merge our development experitise together - benefiting all handheld device users.
The agreement first targets the migration of TETRIS remake known as "Sugatris" within the SHARK development kit, which will hit PalmOS®, Pocket PC, Smartphone and Symbian Series 60 devices once completed. Additional titles are planned for conversion in the near future. Pricing is yet to be decided for the titles.
MobileWizardry is a group of developers, derived from ardiri.com, who specialize at creating entertainment titles for handheld devices. INDUSTRY Entertainment, started PalmOS® development in early 2002, and have since produced professionally looking titles such as Monsta and Sugatris.
They are also
well known within the demo-scene community with their award winning contributions
to a number of large demo competitions.

Check out some Jailbird's experiments in photography.
This is a little old news now, but still very significant: Jailbird won the first place at C-64 pixel compo at Breakpoint03 with picture Sevenfold Obsolete Sadness.
We are still with Jailbird: On Jailbird's new website called Arnold's Services you can get a completely free design for your C-64 related website. Here's a quote form the site:
"A
VERY FREE OFFER!
Supporting the C64
If you have a Commodore 64 related website that lacks visually, contact me and
I'll try to help you out. Mail to me the URL, tell me if your server supports
PHP or not, and I'll see what can I do (probably a lot). Note that I won't design
FLASH or write huge Java scripts - that would take too much time, sorry. Just
check the examples above: pure HTML can still do really a lot!"
Another production of Jailbird, for those who missed it, is SCENEthetic, a comic with characters from C-64 demo scene.
PDABuyersGuide.com has interviewed Nemanja Bondzulic aka kkyborg, the programmer of your beloved game MONSTA. Click here to read the interview.

2 my Jazz is our first demo than runs on PalmOS handhelds and it is available for download. It is made for Mobile Wizardry's demo coding contest.
